Our story begins in 1979 with beauty therapist, Lilliane Caron. Working in her busy salon, Lilliane became frustrated with the expensive, inferior, difficult to use waxes on the market; so she set about formulating her own range of hard and strip waxes. Thus, Caronlab Australia was founded and now is Australia’s single largest manufacturer of salon professional depilatory waxes and waxing accessories.
Lilliane recognised that it was not only beauty therapists who were in need of superior quality waxes; consumers deserved access to professional quality waxes too so they could easily achieve a salon result in the comfort of their own bathroom. With that sole purpose, Lilliane revolutionised at-home waxing with the introduction of the first microwaveable warm wax on supermarket shelves and continued to grow the range with a number of salon quality hair removal alternatives to suit all skin and hair types.

On top of that, we have strict guidelines for choosing our suppliers – an important part of that is that they have to provide a declaration that they don’t test their products on animals. If they can’t provide this declaration, we don’t buy from them. Our Cruelty Free status has been certified by multiple organisations including PETA and Choose Cruelty Free. These organisations actively campaign to end animal testing that facilitates to market cosmetics, toiletries and other household products.

Waxing can be uncomfortable. That’s why we only use professional grade, synthetic resins that don’t irritate the skin. As a result, all our products have been dermatologically tested and are proven gentle on sensitive skin!

Our waxes are based on our award-winning range of professional waxes. We use special ingredients that make the wax stick to your hair, but release easily from your skin – which means less pain and redness and NO bruising of the skin.
Fragrance Free
Where other brands might use cheap resin that is harsh on the skin, we use only the highest quality ingredients to make our waxes. As a result, we don’t have to cover up any nasty chemicals or cheap resin smell with fragrance that can irritate your skin.
